Survivor-Oct30

An emotional start to Episode 6 of Season 31. Jeff Probst arrived by boat in the middle of the night to talk with Terry. Terry's son, Danny, has been hospitalized and his wife and the doctor believe it's serious enough that Terry should come home immediately.

He grabbed his things, explained to his tribe-mates, and headed off into the darkness, leaving the other players shaken.

Fortunately, there was a happy ending involved:after two open-heart surgeries, Danny underwent a successful heart transplant in September.

REWARD CHALLENGE

Angkor and Bayon were shocked to learn the news about Terry. All the Survivor players who also are parents were tearful.

Joe said it took the wind out of their sails, but the game continued and they wanted to win it for Terry.

Before the challenge started, Probst had a surprise. The three tribes are once again becoming two tribes. It's another switch up. We're back to Ta Keo and Bayon.

Ta Keo consists of Kass, Woo, Andrew, Spencer, Ciera, Wigglesworth and Abi.

Bayon has Joe, Fish, Jeremy, Tasha, Kimmi, Keith and Kelley.

The challenge involved giant slip-and-slides and a ring toss. The players oiled up and got to sliding. It was close, but Ta Keo won, earning a feast to help them get to know each other.

The final moment came down to Wiglesworth versus Wentworth. Wiglesworth won.

Later, back at the Bayon camp, Stephen was an emotional mess — like literally crying over the possibility that he might not be able to convince his fellow tribemates to vote out Joe so they could take control of the game when they actually have a chance.

INMUNITY CHALLENGE

Featuring local Cambodian delicacies, Kimmi and Tasha took on Woo and Spencer. The challenge: eating two tarantulas. Spencer demolished the thing in his mouth and was first to finish. Woo and Spencer won.

Next up it was Keith and Jeremy versus Savage and Ciera. Keith and Jeremy won. Abi and Kass took on Fishbach and Wentworth eating pig snout. Fishbach was done first, followed by Wentworth.

Then we got to individual match ups where Joe took on Wiglesworth. Wiglesworth beat Joe! No one saw that coming.

Woo was ready to take on Kimmi — their challenge was pigs brain. “I haven’t had pig in 30 years,” Kimmi told Probst, and promptly forfeited to Woo.

Then it was Ciera vs. Wentworth eating scorpions. Wentworth won and tied it up. The final showdown saw Kass taking on Tasha. They got the most disgusting delicacy - a duck embryo. Kass couldn’t choke it down. Tasha struggled too but won it for Bayon.

Tribal Council: The consensus seemed to be Spencer but Ciera didn’t like the fact that Savage suggested using her name as a decoy to throw off Spencer. Kass secretly approached Spencer and decided to save him instead, and Woo got totally blindsided.
